Grumble and growl

It’s silly but the entire winter you hate cold weather. You feel trapped at home while turning on the thermostat to get that nice warm tempature where you can dose off when in front of the TV. Days are to short, darkness comes to quickly.

Then all of a sudden it’s summer. Thermostat is off. Daylight even is up before you open your eyes. Tempatures are way up in the twenty degrees Celcius. You puff, you huff, you cannot stand the heat. You move, you sweat, you stink, but you dont mind since everybody around you has the same problem.

Oh you long to those cold days of winter where you had to move to stay warm during summer. Oh you long to those long, warm days where you mostly want to do nothing to avoid sweat running into your eyes while its winter.

Weather is just a small example of how fucked up i am. I wonder, are we ever pleased with that we have or will we always grumble and growl about that what we dont have?

Man, i feel like a woman

I dont know what got over me today. It was a weird selfish feeling of me me me. I hope i dont have such days much since it did cost me a whole lot of money. Money well spend nevertheless.

When i woke up i already felt my female side was acting up. The song of Shania Twain – Man, feel like a woman playing in my head. A nice, long, bath couldn’t give me my masculinity back.

Armed with my bankcard i went to the stores to buy some new clothes. After being a whole hour in the shop, deciding about purchase or not after a long look into the mirror, shaking head about little details, tired of running around the store to find the most pretty things i left the store with 3 long pants, 3 shirts and one T-shirt and 224 euros lighter. Lucky for me the shirts and pants where 2 buy one for free. So i felt proud that i saved 79,95 euros.

But still i felt a little girlish so of i went to the hairdresser. A nice wash of the hair while a nice chitter chatter with the female hairdresser. Some talk about shampoo that can revitalize the hair before the actuall cutting. A new hairstyle was born. A chitchat about hairgel to round it of. 48.45 euros i left behind.

Sorry that i have to leave you already, it’s time for my beauty sleep. ,-)

Time of year

It’s that time of year that people take up their vacation days at work and go do something that during the year they do so little namely doing the so called nothing else then just relax and enjoyment.

At my workplace it means it gets quieter and silent. We are only with seven people where i work. Well six actually since our chief, commander, director, is already six month in six leave.

So if somebody of the other six goes away for a few weeks its directly noticed by the rest. The first one will go on vacation (directly for a month) this coming friday. In the midsts of his vacation another one leaves for two weeks which makes only four of us will be left to run the place.

Well actually two since two of the four are our handyman and our cleaning lady (who works half time). So lots of work will fall on my little shoulders. Lets hope i can carry the shitload. Luckily i can see forward to my three weeks of vacation in a month and half from now otherwise i think i will not survive the next couple of weeks.

One cannot else then envy teachers who have two months of summervacation and during the school year something like two months of vacation aswell. Actually, i think when it comes at vacation the school teachers together with the politicians are the ones with the most holidays and vacation.

Oke, one must admit that school teachers do a whole lot more then politicians so its kinda not fair that politicians get so much holidays, certainly not since the politicians are also the most overpayed people i know.

But anyway, i wish you all a happy vacation with lots of sun and many enjoyable moments.

Loss of energy

Now that i am here it’s time to put some writting up. Not knowing what i want to write though. My brain seems to have the lack of energy to come up with something for awhile now. It’s just work, eat, sleep and the occasional study time at my chess course for the moment. Work seems to have drained me and it doesn’t help to have to do numerous saterdays at work aswell.

I have to find a way to get my energy level up and this without sleeping since to much sleep makes me want to sleep more and so all the other things i want to do is put on the shelf. Thought about medication, some good vitamin pills but then i am to lazy to go to the pharmacy to get them.

Any proposals to get my energy back to normal?

Tired of thinking

In my previous post i wrote about the chess course i am following. No complaints so far after a half month. Or it must been that you get so tired of always thinking. Geeze, never felt so tired as now, not even in highschool. Wonder why that is. Can somebody explain to me why thinking makes you so tired?

Since i am a chess geek i decided to start with the chess course of international chess school . It’s a course of 13 months which requires 6 to 10 hours a week. Since it wasn’t cheap i will spent most of my free time at this course and therefor will not have much time to blog. But dont worry, i will continu to blog and visit all your blogs.

Darn the weather

All week long we had splendid weather. It was a shame one had to go to work while it was outside 20+ sunny weather. Today, with weekend knocking on the door the temputare has dropped to a mild 12 degrees celcius and grey clouds are pouring rain. Is the calender of the weather gods different then the one we use?

I am getting to like this new place since it’s very userfriendly. Atleast for the things i want to do. Now i only have to figure out how to subscribe to other blogs so that i get a message of some kind if one of my friends have posted another blog post.

Last week nothing out of the ordinary happened to me. Just a week as every other week. Work, work, work, work, work, chess, chess, chess lesson and in between sleep, sleep, sleep, sleep, sleep, sleep, sleep. In fact, that’s the only problem that i have, namely always feeling tired. Maybe it’s time to take some vitamin C pills?

It’s been awhile that i gave a sign of life in the blogging world. Mostly due the fact that i didn’t find a good bloghost and the loss of friends because they scattered all over the net after severall downtimes of that other bloghost that gave us that wonderfull community feeling.

I have seen that many of those ‘old’ friends have setup their new home here. No more scattering around to find the people, who i never met, but may call friends. It will take a bit but links will be put up to their wonderfull new homes. Let’s hope my home here at efx3 will be what once was at that other bloghost that we buried and said our RIP wishes to.
